Tom Thumb is about to open in Frisco, its first of three new stores this year

Exciting news in Frisco: Tom Thumb's third store opening soon

Tom Thumb will open its third store in Frisco in April as H-E-B readies its second in the fast-growing northern suburb.

The 58,000-square-foot store at 11401 Coit Road is the first of three new Tom Thumb supermarkets planned for Dallas-Fort Worth in 2024.

After a few years of building their online businesses and meeting the challenges of the pandemic, grocers are back building in Dallas-Fort Worth as H-E-B expanded in the market and the local population continues to grow.

The new Frisco Tom Thumb anchors the 100,000-square-foot Lexington Village shopping center being built by Centergy Retail on the southwest corner of Coit Road and Eldorado Parkway.

Tom Thumb’s two other stores in Frisco are at 4848 Preston Road and at 5550 FM423.

H-E-B plans to open its second Frisco store this year at Highway 380 and FM 423. H-E-B’s first Frisco opening in September 2022 came after saying it was ready to expand its North Texas footprint. That store set records for customers waiting to get in and for lines that continued for days.
