The Art Gallery At Collin College Presents ‘Kaleidoscope – What Freedom Looks Like’

The Art Gallery at Collin College will present “Kaleidoscope – What Freedom Looks Like,” from July 14-Aug. 2. A reception is planned for July 29. This show is free and open to the public.

“Kaleidoscope” features the work of Sontonya Necheal and her daughter Amari Reighlynn. Necheal is a self-taught mixed media artist, abstract artist, and hat designer. Her artistic journey is fueled by a profound passion for exploring the most captivating and inspiring aspects of life. She believes in venturing beyond conventional boundaries, fearlessly mixing patterns, and finding beauty in her mistakes. 

The July 29 reception will be held in The Art Gallery from 3-5 p.m.

The gallery is located on Collin College’s Plano Campus, Room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Gallery hours are: 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday and Saturday. Email theartgallery@collin.edu or call 972.881.5873 for more information.
