McKinney North’s Nate Markiewicz Commits to UTSA

McKinney North tight end Nate Markiewicz announced his intent to play college football for UTSA after his senior season in North Texas.

Markiewicz (6-5, 240) had five offers and chose UTSA over Mizzou, UNT, Kent State and Bowling Green. He is unranked by 247sports.

As a junior, he caught 14 passes for 136 yards and averaged 9.71 yards per catch. McKinney North — characterized by an explosive offense that averaged 386 yards per game — finished 7-4 last season and qualified for the playoffs but fell to Port Arthur Memorial in the first round.
